Sally Beatrice Capps Beddingfield, 93

Sally Beatrice Capps Beddingfield, 93, of Zirconia, NC, passed away on March 13, 2015 at the Laurel's of Hendersonville.

She was a native of Henderson County and the daughter of the late Jim Capps and Una Ward Capps and was a lifelong and dedicated member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. She loved to work in her flower beds and vegetable garden and was happiest surrounded by family and friends who knew her as "Granny" or "Aunt Bea." She was always willing to help others and was loved dearly by all her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford W. Beddingfield; one son, Clyde Beddingfield; one grandson, Jeffrey Beddingfield; two sisters: Mae Capps Maybin and Isabelle Osteen Staton; as well as two brothers: J.D. Capps and Doyle Capps.

She is survived by her five children, all of Zirconia, NC: four sons: O.K. Beddingfield, Wayne Beddingfield and his special friend, Anna Brackman, Benjamin Beddingfield and his wife, June, and Zeb Beddingfield and his wife, Sandra; and one daughter, Una Mae Beddingfield Robinson and her husband, David. She is also survived by two brothers: Donald Capps and his wife, Ludith of Hendersonville, and Douglas Capps and his wife, Elaine of Zirconia. She is also proudly survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Dan Holbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel.
