Mildred Burlett, 90,

Mildred Burlett, 90, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. She was proceeded in death by her husband Leo, of 57 years, her son, Douglas and her first granddaughter, Diana Ricker Watkins. She was born in Ambridge, Pa. and then moved to Florida to raise her family. She moved to Hendersonville in 2000. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Ricker, three sons, David Burlett and his wife Marcie of Hendersonville, Lee Burlett and his wife Mary of Strasburg, Ohio, John Burlett and his wife Jennifer of Clearwater, Florida, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was known as the "baseball mom" having 4 boys growing up on the baseball field. She loved the Atlanta Braves and her family always knew where to find her when the Braves were playing on TV. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service with Pastor Walt Christian of Edneyville Methodist Church officiating.
