Mafalda "Fifi" Abrams made her transition on Thursday July 9th. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, infinitely generous, and exceptionally kind. People knew Fifi as a charismatic woman of power with an authentic reverence for life. She had an angelic soprano voice, and one of her greatest joys in life was to sing operatic arias. She touched the heart of whoever she met, and she will be missed by many. Fifi joins her eldest son Richard Fogleman who made his transition in 2005. She is survived by her daughter Christine Lockhart, her son Tony Fogleman, grandchildren Matthew Fogleman and Celeste Lockhart, and great grandchildren Aidan Fogleman, Noah Fogleman, Daniel Hawn, and Josiah Hawn. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at the Center for Spiritual Living in Asheville on July 26th.
