Jason Volley Laughter, 82

Jason Volley Laughter, 82, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Elizabeth House. He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County and was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Betty Owenby Laughter; his wife, Elizabeth Justice Laughter; three brothers, Clarence, Lloyd and Bryant and his sister, Francis. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He cared about his community and loved to help out the kids. He is survived by a son, Jerry Laughter of Hendersonville; two daughters, Brenda Game of Flat Rock and Judy Rummel of Hendersonville; 13 grandchildren, Larry, Jason, Beth, Autumn, Gabriel, Destiny, Brandon, Brittany, Melissa, Jerry, Cindy, Daniel and Robyn; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jackson Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev.
