Irene Jackson Gordon, 80

Irene Jackson Gordon, 80, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 after a long illness at Hendersonville Health and Rehab.
She is the daughter of the late Forest and Cora Russell Jackson and the wife of the late Arnold Gordon.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gordon Garcia and Linda Kay Gordon; a granddaughter, Jessica Skipper; grandsons, Christopher Skipper and Ricky Garcia and his wife Aquasha of Mill Spring; two sisters, Josephine Cairnes of Mill River and Wavelene Armstrong of Alabama and was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Billy Jarvis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
