Gladys A. Burghardt, 96

Gladys A. Burghardt, age 96, of Hendersonville died Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at the Elizabeth House. She was born August 25th, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan; a daughter of the late, Edward Kolodsick and Anna Kathern Gileczek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon E. Burghardt.

She is survived by her three sons, Gordon E. Burghardt, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, Brian Daniel Burghardt and his wife, Nance, and Phillip Lee Burghardt and his wife, Pamela; one daughter, Gladys Anne Caffey and her husband, Dave; Eleven grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren; and One great-great grandchild.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19th, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church officiated by the Reverend Greg Williams. Entombment will follow the service in the Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends thirty-minutes prior to the service at the church.
