Ricky James “Rick” Rush, 57,

Ricky James “Rick” Rush, 57, of Saluda, NC passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born in Heidleburg, Germany on April 6, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents 1st Sergeant Green Poe Rush and Vera Louise Dunlap Rush. He grew up in Radcliff, Kentucky, graduated from Hardin County High School and ITT Tech in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rick resided in Orlando, Florida for 38 years before moving to Hendersonville, NC. He was an avid Gator Fan, a Harley Davidson enthusiast, enjoyed fishing, sports and Dave Matthews. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Debbie Rush; four sons, Corey (Monica), Kyle, Jacob and Brad; a granddaughter, Chloe; two sisters, Nora Evelyne Layton (Skip) and Sylvia Williams; two nieces, Patti Battista (Marty) and Susie Botcher (Dale); two great nephews, Bobby and Nico Battista; a brother-in-law, Kenny Castellani (Cindy); a mother-in-law, Ginny Castellani; his canine companions, Chewy, Roxie and Hopper. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at The Burntshirt Vineyard ….2695 Sugarloaf Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792 with the Rev. Mark Ralls officiating.
