Carolyn J. Marshall, 60

Carolyn J. Marshall, 60, of Edneyville, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at her home.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Cole and a sister, Shirley Pace.

She graduated from Edneyville High School and Montreat College, owned and operated Carolyn's Beauty Shop in Edneyville and retired from General Electric after 30 years of service in 2008.
Carolyn loved her goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, horses and her yorkies. She especially loved spending time with her family and being outdoors.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Rick Marshall; her mother, Betty Cole of Edneyville; two daughters, Tabitha Calloway and husband Eddie of Edneyville and Amy Norton and husband Glenn of Edneyville; four grandchildren, Amber and Taylor Calloway and Erin and Colby Norton and her beloved Heidi.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dale Gilbert officiating.
