Cecelia Lindke, 94

Cecelia Lindke, 94, was born Jan. 12, 1919, and born to eternal life, March 6, 2013.

Born in Port Huron, Michi., to Fred Gillett and Alvera Herring Gillett, she married Stewart Lindke, who died in 2005. Cecelia and Stewart retired from Michigan where he was a General Motors dealer. They moved to Venice and Englewood, Fla., where they enjoyed retirement, family, and friends.

She was mother to 5: Diane Mary who died at birth, Janet Carol, who died in 1993, and living daughters, Mary Low of Greenville, S.C., Paula Ziegler of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Ann Steele of Atlanta. Son-in-law Thomas Low was the son she never had, and she loved him like a son. She had 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Family was everything to her. The family is enjoying knowing that she is at peace and with her beloved Stewart and daughters Janet and Diane in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
