Garry Dean Turbeville, 36, of Horse Shoe, passed away suddenly Monday,
August 12, in Lithia Springs, GA.
Born in Baton Rouge, LA, he was a son of
Garry Wayne and Mary Sue Stepp Turbeville of Lithia Springs and
Hendersonville. He lived most of his life in Henderson County and was a
dedicated employee of Honeybaked Ham. He had also participated in the Job
Corps and had served as a volunteer firefighter battling wildfires in
California. He was an avid NASCAR, LSU and New Orleans Saints fan.
Garry is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Tina Marie Turbeville;
sister, Tammy Rasberry of Powder Springs, GA; brother, Vance Turbeville of
Lithia Springs, GA; niece, Shanna Lindley and her husband Gary; nephew,
Donald "Duck" Rasberry; great niece and nephew, Alexis and Gary Lindley and
many other loving family members in Louisiana.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, August 19, in the Kirby
Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Landreth will officiate. A
reception will follow the service at Honeybaked Ham.
