Rachel Marie Williams, 86

Rachel Marie Williams, 86 of Hendersonville died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

A native of Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Griffin. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Clarence Griffin; and two sisters, Clara Miller and Pauline Miller Bumgarner.

Rachel was of the Baptist faith and was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her five children, Keith Williams of Mountain Home, Pamela Williams of Penrose, Mack Williams of Houston,Allen Williams and wife Debby of Woodstock, Ga., and Janet Guy and husband John of Marietta, Ga.; brother, Lloyd Griffin and wife Clarice of Lenoir; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Worthington officiating.
