NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — Edward Wolff, 90, of North Charleston, S.C., formerly of Dana, N.C., died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Dana United Methodist Church.

A native of Clifton, N.J., Mr. Wolff was the son of Charles and Francis Hathaway Wolff. Mr. Wolff was a veteran of the United States Air Corp in the Pacific Theater during World War II, and served as an aircraft mechanic on several atolls including Okinawa. Mr. Wolff was employed as a machinist for the Curtis Wright Corp for over twenty- five years.

Mr. Wolff was a member of Dana United Methodist Church and assisted with church maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, wood working and watching baseball. Mr. Wolff also volunteered at Holmes State Forest during his retirement.

Mr. Wolff was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Winifred Wolff and four brothers, Charles, Russell, Howard, and George, and a stepson, Daniel J. Sabel.

Mr. Wolff is survived by his son, Thomas E. Wolff, daughter-in-law, Lillian Genander, nieces, Cindy Wolff, Barbara Garth, Jean Hebrank, and Alice Lull, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Carolina Forest Service.
