Marion Elizabeth Strassburg-Davis

Marion Elizabeth Strassburg-Davis of Hendersonville died Wednesday April 16, 2014, at her residence.

A native of Detroit, Mich., Marion was the daughter of the late Othmar Christian Geschwind and Martha Elizabeth Beck Geschwind. She lived much of her life in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., before moving to Hendersonville 12 years ago. Mrs. Strassburg-Davis retired from Xerox after 23 years of service. She was a member of Grace Lutheran of Hendersonville, NC.

She is survived by her dedicated and loyal husband Walter; two daughters Jan Strassburg Huntley of Boone and Kathy Strassburg Kwiatkowski of Moscow, Idaho; sons Ken Strassburg of Richmond, Va., and Kevin Strassburg of Quebec City, Canada. Other survivors include many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Cam and Les Boyd, of Boyd Cadillac, for their support of Walter during his leave of absence to lovingly care for his wife.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Mt. Clemens, Mich.
