Marion Joan Stockman, 81

Marion Joan Stockman, 81, of Hendersonville died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Pardee Hospital.

Mrs. Stockman was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Flint, Mich., to the late Theodore and Alfonsena Hackett.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Maurice C. Stockman, sons Robert Stockman of Texas, Tony Stockman of Pennsylvania, Jim Stockman and Bill Stockman of the home, and one daughter Mary Ellen Stockman of the home; other survivors include 3 grandchildren, Jill, Jenifer, Nicholas and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
