Evona H. Worsham, 78, went home to be with the Lord that she loved so much.
She was a daughter of the late Jerry and Bessie Kuykendall Henderson.
Evona is survived by her son Clifford Worsham and his wife Wendy; her daughters Linda Williams and her husband Michael and Ruthann Worthington and her husband David. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren; and a much loved and cherished friend Kenneth Walker who she cared for deeply. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews; her sister Ruth Nicholson, brother Lee Henderson and his wife Louise and sister-in-law Wanda Henderson.
She loved her family deeply and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents Jerry and Bessie Henderson, she was preceded by her husband Troy Dean Worsham, son Terry Dean Worsham, brothers Joseph and Berlin Henderson.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in her memory be made to World Outreach Center, P.O. Box 3478 Fort Mill, SC 29708.
