Gloria Crisp Freeman, 76, of Hendersonville passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the home of her daughter Teresa Harrell. All of Gloria's children were supportive through the end of her life.
She was born on July 12, 1938, in Hendersonville to the late Rell and Oneda Crisp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie E. Freeman; granddaughter, Nina Freeman Caputo; and her brother, Bobby V. Crisp.
She graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1956; she married her husband, the late Billie E. Freeman also in 1956. Gloria was a baptized dedicated servant of Jehovah God; she was associated with the East Hendersonville Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Gloria is survived by her five children, Teresa Harrell of Houston, Billie Eugene Freeman of Hendersonville, Cynthia Freeman of Charlotte, Sheila Harrell of Madison, Miss., Gregory Freeman of Hendersonville; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her sister, Glenda Glover of Hendersonville.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Shepherd Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held 2p.m. Thursday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with Jonathan Tucker officiating.
