James Dwight (Poochie) Davidson Jr., 54

James Dwight (Poochie) Davidson Jr., 54, of Wilmington, passed away Sept. 15, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Surviving are his wife of 21 years Sheri Davidson, children E.J. and Alissha Davidson, mother Patsy Davidson, and sister Jennifer Foster.

Poochie was raised in Western North Carolina, James attended Owens High School and Montreat College. Before moving to Wilmington Poochie worked for Hendersonn County at the landfill.

A service was on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Victory Tabernacle in East Flat Rock. Suzanne Russell officiated.
