Developer seeks OK for 114-unit multi-family building at Blue Ridge Mall

A developer is seeking a rezoning to allow a 114-unit multi-family development on a 1.4-acre site at Blue Ridge Mall, city planners said in announcing a neighborhood compatibility meeting on the request.

Applicant Philip Cox of Unaka Developers LLC and property owner James M. Hull Jr. of Blue Ridge Mall LLC have asked for the change from PCD Planned Commercial Development to PCD CZD Planned Commercial Development Conditional Zoning District for the construction of the project at 1800 Four Seasons Blvd. The neighborhood compatibility meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the council chambers of City Hall, 160 Sixth Ave. E.
