Pardee nurses win certification

Three nurses employed by Pardee Hospital achieved national certification this month, the hospital said.
"Achieving national certification in a nursing specialty demonstrates the professional commitment of nurses in continuing to improve their knowledge and skills in pursuit of enhancing the quality of care for their patients," Pat Ashe, Vice President Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer, said in a news release.
The nurses and their certifications were:
- Laura Collins, RN-BC, Cardiac/Vascular Nurse Certification Examination through ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).
- Irene Agnaonao, BSN, RN-BC, National Certification in Gerontology Nursing.
- Tangie Justice, RN-BC, Psychiatric and Mental Health Certification through ANCC.
