Developer seeks OK for 67-home subdivision on Couch Mountain

A developer is seeking approval for a subdivision of 67 lots on a 335-acre tract off Hutch Mountain Road.

Managing member Andy Baker of Luna Ridge, LLC, filed the request on March 13 for a revised master and phase 2 development plan for the Couch Mountain subdivision. The plan calls for an additional 3,771 feet of road. County planners said the master plan meets the subdivision regulations.

The request goes before the county Technical Review Committee on April 7. The committee is meeting by conference call as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
