The Mills River Town Council will hold a legislative Public Hearing at Mills River Town Hall on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM on an amendment to the Making Mills River 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The public is invited to attend and offer comment. This public hearing will also be accessible to the public via electronic means. Specifics to attend remotely are available at www.millsriver.org/calendar. The Mills River Code of Ordinances is available at www.millsriver.org.  Detailed information is available for review upon request.

OFFICIAL NOTICE OF

The Henderson County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in regards to naming two rights-of-way (ROW) Lavender Court and Lynwood Cabin Way. The hearing has been scheduled for April 16, 2025, at 9:30 AM at 1 Historic Courthouse Square, Hendersonville, NC 28792 in the Board of Commissioners meeting room. The proposed naming will be available for public inspection from now until April 16, 2025, in the Planning Department located at 100 N. King Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792. The Henderson County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to Chapter 45 Farmland Preservation. The amendments deal with administrative changes necessary in the ordinance, adds the process for agricultural conservation easements, expands the membership and role of the Agricultural Advisory Board, and supports a farmland preservation coordinator.

Before adopting the proposed amendments, the Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing. The public hearing will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located in the Henderson County Historic Courthouse, 1 Historic Courthouse Square, Hendersonville, NC. The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed amendments.

Written comments addressed to the Henderson County Board of Commissioners, 1 Historic Courthouse Square, Suite 1, Hendersonville, NC 28792, will be accepted prior to the hearing. Information about the proposed amendments is available for review in the Henderson County Planning Department, 100 N.
