BOGO book raffle winner gets flatscreen TV

Flat Rock Middle School student Judy Laughter won a 46-inch flatscreen TV in a drawing for selling BOGO books for her school.
A sixth grader, Judy sold nine BOGO books. Students countywide were eligible to enter a ticket in the raffle for every three books they sold. Flat Rock Middle School students sold $8,400 worth of BOGO books, giving the school $4,200.
"We'll use the money to offset athletic costs for travel fees and also for other athletic expenditures and school technology," Rhodes said.
