Opp House offers gun class

The Opportunity House will hold a concealed carry handgun class from 6-10 p.m. Feb. 18-19.

The center will also hold a Stained Glass class 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Other events:
• VALENTINES DANCE, 7-9 p.m. Feb. 15. Tickets, $10 per person and $15 for couples, can be purchased in advance or at the door.
• POTTERY GROUP AUCTION. The pottery group will hold a silent auction at the on Feb. 28. Items are displayed in the hallway. All proceeds help to fund scholarships and materials fees for the pottery group.
• THRIFT STORE is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The store accepts donations of gently-used items during business hours. Please call 828-692-0575 if you need to schedule a pick up.
