Speaker raised here keynotes MLK Unity Breakfast
The Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Breakfast is scheduled to take place at the Technology Education & Development Center at Blue Ridge Community College Monday morning. A breakfast at 8:15 a.m. is followed by the program at 9.
The keynote speaker is DeShannon Bynum Dixon. Born in Fort Payne, Alabama, DeShannon Bynum Dixon and her family moved to Hendersonville at the age of 10. She is the youngest of three children born to the late Pastor Hoyt Bynum and the late Rev. Naomi Bynum. Educated in North Carolina she hold multiple degrees and certifications, DeShannon is a published author, an executive leadership, life and career coach and teaches recents graduates how to navigate life in corporate America in her she has a executive finishing school. Tickets — $15 for adults, $ for children — are available for purchase at the door.
