The Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County will celebrate two decades of mission milestones that have empowered thousands of Henderson County youth at the upcoming Celebration Dinner benefit at Champion Hills Club on June 1.
"Our theme for the Celebration Dinner this year is the Roaring Twenties, and it really resonates with the work that the Club has accomplished in the community over the past 20 years," Board President Dave Adams said in a news release. "For many families, the Club has been generation-changing, helping the kids who need us the most to succeed in school, stay healthy and fit and make positive personal decisions."Past Local Hero recipients include Jeff Miller, Steve and Lynn Easler, Bill Stokes, Eleanora Meloun and Marcia Caserio.
