A hundred young musicians went through the paces in a week of intense instruction and rehearsal, culminating in a concert Friday afternoon that showcased their work.

The Yellow, Blue and Green orchestras delighted the mostly filled sanctuary at Trinity Presbyterian Church with a program of 10 pieces, from traditional to classical to contemporary.
Sponsored by the Hendersonville Symphony and TDBank, the Summer Strings Workshop sections were conducted by Franklin Keel, Elizabeth Terry, Maddy Welch, Andrew Dennis, Vance Reese and Eric Scheider.
