Tickets on sale for Hendersonville Symphony Black & White Ball

The annual Hendersonville Symphony Black and White Ball will be Saturday, May 19, at Kenmure Country Club. This event has grown over the years to become one of the most impressive fundraisers in the area. The Live Auction has offerings such as condo rentals at Harbor Island, SC and Hawk's Cay in Florida; a BMW Racetrack excursion; a stocked wine cooler; all day cruise on Lake Jocassee with gourmet lunch and beverages provided; a Greenville weekend that includes Symphony tickets, dinner at Soby's New South Cuisine, and weekend stay at the Historic Westin Poinsett, to name a few.

Last year the Black and White Silent Auction attendees bid on 142 offerings. Bid items ranged from rounds of golf for four with lunch and cart at premiere clubs in the area; food, salon and day spa certificates; antiques, paintings, jewelry, food, dental services, garden packages, pet boarding and grooming to quilts and needlepoint pillows. And of course there is food. The popular restaurant raffle will again be offered. The bundled certificates worth between $25 and $75 have included Frankie Bones, Inn on Church, Mona Lisa, PF Chang, The Purple Onion, Seasons at Highland Lake, Red Stag Grill at Grand Bohemian, and Saluda Grade Café. The offerings this year promise to be even better.

The Black and White Ball is the main fundraiser for the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra. The funds not only support the main Symphony, but the Youth Orchestra as well.

To attend, call the Symphony office at 828-697-5884 or Richard Bendel at 828-698-5930. Space is limited so order your tickets today. The cost is $125 per ticket of which $100 is tax deductible.
