Henderson County sheriff’s deputies charged a 26-year-old Hendersonville man with assault and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana 10 days after they responded to a report of a person being assaulted at a residence on Thunder Bay Lane in Henderson County.
Responding to call at 10:07 p.m. Nov. 19, officers and medical personnel found the victim inside the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Detectives with the major case unit who had been actively investigating the case and following up on leads arrested Stanly O’Neal Case on Monday and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting with intent to kill. He was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Facility on a $66,500 bond.
