TDA announces winners of holiday decorating contest
A home in Edneyville and a downtown brewery are winners of the 2021 Home and Merchant Holiday Decoration Contests, the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority announced.
The Home Holiday division first place winner was the Fletcher family, 318 Pressley Road. Second place was awarded to the Noblett family, 351 Old Dana Road and third place to Edney's Lake, 1005 Crab Creek Road. In the business division first place Oklawaha Brewing, 147 First Ave. East. Second place went to the Council on Aging Thrift Store, 802 Spartanburg Highway and third place winner was Four Seasons Hospice Home Store, 215 N. Main St.
Participants entered their home or business into the competition and winners were selected by the public in online voting. This was the second year in a row that the Fletcher family won first place in the Home Decoration Contest.
