Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard announced that its pick your own tulip field with thousands of blooms is now open to the public.
The farm at 170 Stepp Orchard Drive in Edneyville grows tulips in an array of colors, available for people to pick and take home.Although tulips have been covered in frost from the recent overnight lows in the 20s, Danielle Stepp points out that the cold doesn't damage the flowers. The farm will be open for picking: 3-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday. Picking hours will be announced weekly as long as the tulips last.
No supplies are needed and wrapping of bouquets is provided. Personal photos among the flowers are encouraged. Tulips are $2 per stem. The Stepp family is excited to share this new crop on our farm with the community and visitors to the area.
