Picnic for Progress celebrates Pride Month

More than 40 local exhibitors and nonprofits will be on hand when Hendersonville Pride hosts the third annual Picnic for Progress to celebrate Pride Month from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Jackson Park.

The event will include games, rock & face painting, yoga, reiki, seated massages and, new this year, a children’s art festival. Hendersonville Pride invited the public to bring the kids’ creations—paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry, textile creations—to Pavilion No. 3, where they will be displayed.

Food trucks include Shaa Bingo Jamaican fare,Texas brisket, Allie’s Sweet Treats and First United Methodist Church. Gluten free and vegan options available
