Blue Ridge Community College will hosts the annual Public Safety College Sept. 27 through Oct. 1, offering more than 35 classes developed over the past year with guidance from 11 Emergency Medical Services, fire and law enforcement agencies. Topics will cover a full spectrum of public safety topics with courses contributing to numerous required public safety certifications.
"Our training weekend is a blend of foundational courses and unique, specialized offerings, providing both newcomers and seasoned professionals a comprehensive experience in public safety training," said Philip Hosmer, Blue Ridge’s dean of Public Safety Training.
Public Safety College information and course offerings can be found at www.blueridge.edu/public-safety. In-person registration will be available the day of each course, and interested parties should contact the college to verify course availability.
