Detectives charge 68-year-old with indecent liberties with a child

Henderson County sheriff's detectives on Tuesday charged a 68-year-old man with sexual abuse of a juvenile female after an investigation showed he had allegedly committed the abuse multiple times over three years.
Detectives with the Special Victims Unit were notified in June that a man was alleged to have sexually abused the girl. The investigation concluded with the arrest of Robin David Gilliland of Hendersonville on three counts of indecent liberties with a child. Gilliland was jailed under a bond of $60,000.
