Community responds to firefighting needs in a big way

Henderson County emergency management officials thanked the public for the amazing support it has shown during the Polar Drive fire. "Our community is small, but mighty when it comes to taking care of each other," they said.

Here is the message: Thanks to the public donations, we are currently well-stocked with necessities. We cannot accept further donations of bread, meat or cheese. If the need arises for these items, we will communicate them through all of our public channels. Edneyville Volunteer Fire & Rescue has received multiple requests regarding monetary donations.
