Woman charged with supplying felony that killed user

Detectives with the major crimes unit of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on Monday charged Heather Marie Maybin, 37, of Hendersonville, with felony death by distribution.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into an overdose death that occurred on Feb. 7. The months-long investigation identified Maybin as the source of fentanyl that resulted in the death of at least one person, the sheriff's office said in a news release. She was jailed  on a $75,000 bond.
