Spring flowers bloom in Serenity Moss Garden

Serenity Moss Garden Spring Flower Bloom at the home of Charlotte and Thomas Brass in Haywood Knolls will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday April.

Serenity Moss Garden has taken 10 years and 300,000 floral pins to develop. The garden covers an entire hillside area, approximately 10,000 square feet on Long John Mountain. More than seventy different varieties of ephemeral flowers bloom throughout the moss during the springtime. The garden is viewed from a 100 foot long wood-chip trail walk-around.

 Please plan on wearing secure shoes (not flip flops) as there are a couple of short inclines. (Small children must hold their parents hands at all times.) No pets please.
