National Day of Prayer features topical messages, Biltmore praise team

Ministers delivering messages on drug addiction, government, business and other topics, tributes to first responders and the military and a musical praise team highlight the 73rd annual National Day of Prayer scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Henderson County Historic Courthouse plaza.


After a welcome and opening prayer by the Rev. Ray Brickhouse of Oak Forest Baptist Church, West Henderson High School Army JROTC will present the colors and Debbie Lewis of First Baptist Church will sing the national anthem. The Praise & Worship Team from Biltmore Church Hendersonville campus led by Worship Pastor Holden Pace will perform. Bring a chair.
