Police arrest suspect in May 18 bomb threat at Pardee

After a thorough investigation by the Hendersonville Police Department, a suspect in a bomb threat incident at UNC Health Pardee Hospital on May 18 was identified as James Vigil of Greer, South Carolina. 

Vigil has been arrested Monday on one felony count of making a false report concerning a destructive device. Police determined that Vigil acted alone during the incident and Pardee Hospital, staff, patients and first responders were never in danger.
