Debby not expected to make major impact here

Our area has little change of a major impact from Tropical Storm Debby as the rainmaker slogs north. The heaviest rain is likely to be along and east of I-77, with Charlotte getting 3-4 inches and Monroe, just to the east, seeing 4-6.
Although rain will begin to spread into the state today, the greatest rainfall rates and potential flooding impacts are not expected to occur until Thursday into Friday, the National Weather Service office in Greer, S.C., said in an advisory.
The forecast for the Hendersonville area called for a 30 percent chance of rain today and Wednesday and 40 percent Thursday and Friday with total accumluation of 1½ to 2 inches. Things clear up on the weekend with Saturday expected to be sunny with a high of 82.
