Law officers, firefighters, emergency workers and other first responders joined elected officials and the public on Wednesday morning to mark the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attack and honor the 2,977 victims at the Twin Towers at Ground Zero, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The event took place at the Historic Courthouse.
