Pardee expands OB/GYN network

UNC Health Pardee announced last week the expansion of its OB/GYN network with the addition of two new physicians and opening of a second location in Hendersonville.

Chadwick Leo, who joins Pardee as the medical director of obstetrics and gynecology, will be seeing patients at the existing Pardee OB/GYN Associates clinic at 512 Sixth Ave. W. Sushma Reddy will see patients at the new Pardee OB/GYN Associates practice at 617 6th Ave. W., a department of Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital.

A board-certified obstetrics and gynecological physician, Dr. Leo focuses on minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. Fluent in Spanish, he emphasizes patient-centric care and working collaboratively to address the patient’s needs.

“I want my patients to know that I am here to help them, in whatever way that looks like,” he said. “I strive to partner with my patients to meet their needs, whether it’s a surgical intervention, decision making, or a discussion, I want them to know I am a trusted resource.”

Leo has a special interest in treating infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, menopause and hormone replacement, prenatal care and high-risk prenatal care.

“I love making connections with my patients and meeting them throughout different stages," he said. "From helping them start a family to caring for them through menopause, it’s an honor to be a part of their journey.” When not treating patients, Dr. Leo enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, hiking and scuba diving.

A board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physician, Reddy believes in the importance of listening to her patients and providing them with the tools they need to advocate for their health.

“I love talking to and learning about my patients so I can empower them through education about their health and their options for management of any issues,” she said. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, traveling and spending time with her family.
