Heavy traffic triggers right-in only rule at disaster center

The Henderson County Disaster Recovery Center, in the Blue Ridge Commons Shopping Center at 2111 Asheville Highway, is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to provide federal, state and local resources for county residents applying for FEMA assistance.

Due to heavy traffic at the center, access to the shopping center parking lot is limited to right turns from the southbound lanes of Asheville Highway. Traffic traveling north on Asheville Highway will need to pass the entrance and make a U-turn before joining the traffic queue.
