Bullington Gardens announces holiday greenery and craft sale

Bullington Gardens will hold its annual holiday greenery and craft sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7 featuring Fraser fir trees, wreaths and other Christmas decorations.

Freshly cut Fraser firs from mountains of North Carolina may be ordered online through Nov. 25 for pickup on Dec. 6 or 7. Unadorned wreaths on 12-inch frames are also be available for online ordering. Visit www.bullingtongardens.org to order online or call 828-698-6104 for more information.

Available at the gardens are decorated wreaths and swags, locally grown plants such as cyclamen, amaryllis and poinsettia, and handcrafted nature-themed items made by Bullington’s volunteer elves. New this year are wooden animals crafted from wood claimed from storm-damaged trees. Holiday ornaments, textiles, botanical beauty products, and more are offered. 

All proceeds support educational programs for children and adults, horticultural therapy initiatives for those with special needs, and clean-up efforts from storm damage.  Bullington Gardens is located at 95 Upper Red Oak Trail.
