Chase plays Jeff Eriksson, a Green Beret recently discharged from the Army who escapes with his family to The Homestead after a nuclear bomb is detonated in Los Angeles.
“As violent threats and apocalyptic conditions creep toward their borders, the residents of The Homestead are left to wonder: how long can a group of people resist both the dangers of human nature and the bloodshed at their doorstep?” an IMDb synopsis says.
The actor is married to Amy Wilson Chase, a Hendersonville native and Hendersonville High School graduate. She’s the daughter of Bob and Sally Egolf Wilson and cousin of Jay Egolf, who was sworn in this month as a Henderson County commissioner.
Born in Chicago, Chase grew up in Florida and attended Duke University on a football scholarship. His career took off in television in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and also had roles in Saving Grace and Damages before his critically acclaimed performance as Branch Connally in Longmire, an IMDb bio-sketch said.
