All Helene Disaster Recovery Centers in North Carolina will be closed Friday and Saturday due to inclement weather.
The centers will reopen 8 a.m. on Monday, according to a FEMA press release
Centers are normally open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. To find a center near you: click the DRC locator at www.fema.gov/drc.
Homeowners and renters in 39 North Carolina counties and tribal members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians can visit any open center, including locations in other states. No appointment is needed.
The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Feb. 6.
