The Community Foundation of Henderson County will host its annual luncheon, “A Gratitude Event,” at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, in the Blue Ridge Conference Hall at BRCC.
The foundation announced the new date last week after Hurricane Helene forced cancellation of the event scheduled for Nov. 19.
“When our original annual luncheon plans were upended by Hurricane Helene, we like so many others shifted our focus to the immediate needs facing our community,” Foundation President McCray Benson said. “The months that followed have shown the incredible strength of our community, an immense outpouring of care from near and far, and that heroes are often disguised as neighbors. … We look forward to as many as possible joining us to honor and recognize our community’s resilience with gratitude for all those who generously give of themselves every day, but especially during this exceptional time.”
Those interested in purchasing tickets for the event may contact the foundation at 828-697-6224 or visit cfhcforever.org/about/events.
