UPDATE: Missing elderly woman is found safe

The missing woman has been found safe.

The Hendersonville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person, 85-year-old Carol Ann Hanlon, who was last known to be at her home on Ewbank Gardens Drive off N.C. 191 at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Hanlon is a 5-foot-6 white female weighing 125 pounds with short blonde hair and bangs, police said in a news release. She was last seen wearing black slacks, a yellow knitted sweater and a black jacket. It is believed that Hanlon left her home on foot.

Anyone with information on Ms. Hanlon’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Hendersonville police 828-697-3025. Tips may also be submitted through the police department app which can be downloaded in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store by searching “Hendersonville PD.”
