An intersection improvement will align Linda Vista Drive with a new driveway into the shopping center and close and abandon a driveway east of it. [WGLA ENGINEERING]
A realigned intersection on Four Seasons Boulevard at Linda Vista Drive will improve access to Henderson Crossing shopping center when work is done later this year.
The intersection improvement will align Linda Vista Drive with a new driveway into the shopping center and close and abandon a driveway east of it. After some final prep work is done, a contractor should be able to start on the work next month, said Eric Goodman, a Southern Commercial real estate broker who is the agent for the property. The property is owned by the heirs of Loren Wells, the founder of the Bon Worth chain of women’s clothing stores, and managed by Bill Hale. The shopping center has signed new tenants and more could be on the way. AdventHealth is opening a physical therapy clinic in the old Rex TV and Times-News location and Goodman said he is close to signing a national tenant for the 23,000-square-foot space next to Harbor Freight. The pad where Blockbuster stood is also available.
The shopping center is paying for the intersection improvement. The design, by WGLA Engineering, has received approval from the NCDOT. “We hope to have the project completed later in the summer,” Goodman said.
