AT recordholder Pharr-Davis to speak at library

Jennifer Pharr Davis, local adventurer, author and current speed record-holder for the Appalachian Trail thru-hike, will present a funny, inspiring and informative talk based on her adventure memoir "Becoming Odyssa" this month at the main public library.The presentation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kaplan Auditorium at the main branch of the library.
The event is free and open to the public.
After setting the speed record for the AT in 2011, Pharr was featured by National Geographic as one of 2012's "Adventurers of the Year."
