Pardee lifts visitor restrictions as infectious ailments fall

Due to decreasing cases of flu and other respiratory illnesses, UNC Health Pardee lifted temporary age-based visitor restrictions, effective Wednesday, April 2. 

The temporary visitor restrictions were implemented in early January to prevent the further spread of respiratory illnesses and protect our patients, teammates, and visitors. UNC Health Pardee recognizes that patients’ family members and loved ones are important to the healing process. Leadership and infectious disease experts monitor infection data and either escalate or de-escalate precautions based on the latest data.
